Westmac Canine Theraphies
The benefits of hydrotherapy depend very much on how the hydrotherapy treatment is carried out. Here at Westmac we work alongside a qualified ACPAT Physiotherapist to ensure your pet has the best possible treatment plan for its individual needs. This is especially important after surgery or injury as this can allow an earlier return to a more normal way of life for your pet.

Water can also be used as a means of supporting dogs in a non weight bearing or partially weight bearing environment to allow movements that would not be possible on land, perhaps because of weakness or injury. All courses are CPD accredited and many have the additional option of an endorsed certificate from TQUK. She holds a Level 3 Diploma in Small Animal Hydrotherapy and a Canine Sports Massage Therapy with IATT.

Evie has grown up surrounded by dogs with her parents boarding kennels and cattery, and has a comprehensive understanding of canine behaviour, care and health. Bethan also holds a Level 3 Diploma in Small Animal Hydrotherapy alongside her BSc Biological Sciences: Animal Biology degree and other qualifications to complement her vast knowledge of animal health and well-being.

Treatments & Prices
Report
All of our clients here at Westmac will begin with an initial assessment appointment.
This is so that we can take time to get to know you and your pet before any treatment commences.
The initial assessment will be 1 hour long which allows us to move at a speed that provides most reassurance for your best friend.
In this time we will do a gait analysis for your pet to observe the way that they move, and we will also measure key areas of their structure to note the natural differences in their build.
