Our initial therapy assessments help families understand their childs individual strengths, needs and priorities. We consider the wider impact of complex needs on daily life, including functional independence, communication, movement, sensory requirements, environmental engagement and education. Different professional perspectives are brought together where appropriate to establish meaningful goals and inform suitable support. 
We deliver individualised intensive therapy for children with complex physical presentations, using repeated, goal-focused movement practice throughout each treatment block. Programmes are shaped by developmental requirements, physical presentation and family priorities. Regular clinical observation enables our therapists to select appropriate activities and maintain a clear focus on agreed outcomes, including motor learning, strengthening and functional movement. 
Through the TheraSuit Method, we combine three specialist therapeutic tools with individualised exercises and intensive movement practice. The TheraSuit Orthosis supports postural alignment, body stability and sensory awareness, while the Universal Exercise Unit enables targeted strengthening. Spider Therapy provides weight-bearing support through belts and bungee cords, helping children practise movement, balance and different positions with reduced effects of gravity.

We had a fantastic experience with Therapy to Thrive in Knaresborough. Joe was absolutely amazing with our son; he managed to make the entire assessment process so engaging that our son now calls it 'fun gym'! The facilities there are amazing and provide such a great environment for kids. Beyond his wonderful rapport, Joes expertise and knowledge were outstanding. We felt in very capable hands and couldn't recommend him highly enough.
