Services
Physiotherapy
Our comprehensive physiotherapy service addresses back pain, sports injuries, and chronic conditions through evidence-based assessment and treatment. Therapists conduct detailed movement analysis and joint function tests to create individualised recovery plans. Treatment combines manual therapy, progressive exercise programmes, and patient education to restore mobility and prevent recurrence.
Massage Therapy
Therapeutic massage forms an integral part of our rehabilitation approach, targeting muscle tension and circulation improvement. Practitioners use deep tissue techniques alongside myofascial release to address sports injuries and postural strain. Sessions incorporate movement re-education to enhance treatment outcomes and promote long-term musculoskeletal health.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Specialist pelvic health physiotherapy treats incontinence, pelvic pain, and postnatal recovery through targeted assessment and intervention. Therapists employ internal and external examination techniques combined with biofeedback to restore pelvic floor function. Treatment programmes include lifestyle modifications and progressive exercise regimens tailored to individual needs.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is offered as an adjunct therapy for pain management and musculoskeletal conditions. Practitioners use fine needles at specific points to stimulate healing responses and reduce inflammation. This traditional technique complements conventional treatments, particularly for chronic pain conditions and sports injury recovery.
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy delivers targeted acoustic waves to treat chronic tendon injuries and musculoskeletal pain. This non-invasive treatment stimulates healing in conditions like plantar fasciitis and tennis elbow through enhanced blood circulation and tissue regeneration. Sessions are combined with exercise programmes for optimal functional recovery.

I have been receiving physio treatment from Lucy regarding balance issues and now physio from Lisa regarding neck and back issues. They are both very knowledgeable, lovely and caring people who put your mind at ease if you are worried about anything. I have been coming to the Ashbourne clinic for many years and I completely trust them. I would not go anywhere else. Thank you for all that you do. You are indeed special people.
